Mythbackend setup

Update for Mythbuntu 10.04 in progress. See also the Configuring MythTV section of the MythTV HOWTO more detailed documentation.

Configure a MythTV (master) backend to use your hardware to record TV and serve your media. The last step in a Mythbuntu 10.04 installation will prompt you to Launch MythTV Setup. You can launch it later after login to your desktop by either running "mythtv-setup" from the command line or from the XFCE menu Applications -> System -> MythTV Backend Setup.

You may be prompted to select your preferred language, then the initial configuration page will present you with 6 options. It is strongly recommended that you follow these in order the first time you configure a backend installation. This process will associate your guide data sources, TV tuners and storage of your recordings.
